Long Time No Blog!

Hello friends! Please forgive us for the lack of communication over the past couple of weeks (Molly, thank you for putting the pressure on us to update this again). We are missing all of our friends back home and those that just moved away. Last week two couples that we became close to moved away. Katie and Kevin Kopp moved to Washington where Katie is going to be stationed in the Army and Kevin will be working in Seattle. The other couple, Randy and Sarah Larson, moved back home to Missouri where Randy will be attending Law School. We had great times with these two couples and they will be sorely missed!

Brett's parents were also in town last week, so we got to hang out with them a lot which was very fun! Brett's dad was out here on business in San Diego, so they came out early and stayed a day later so they could hang out with us and my Aunt Lynda and Uncle Bill in Rancho Cucamonga. We had a good time going to dinner a couple times, watching Angels baseball and visiting with Bill and Lynda.

Does Brett think he's cool or something...He calls it his "yo thug" pose.

Last night was fun, we went to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim game with Case DeVries, a friend of Brett's from the Myrtle Beach Summer Project in 2005. Case lives out in Hemet (an hour and a half from us) and got the tickets free from his cousin, and they were great tickets...11 rows back from the field near the Angels dugout. It was a great treat for Brett who is, as most of you know, a huge Angels fan. The Angels won 11-6, it was very fun.

Brett has been extremely busy with Greek. He got his grade for the first semester (part 1) and he got an A! He's also doing well the second semester, though he will need to continue to work hard to get an A again in part 2. Holly is still enjoying her job, though she has had a couple rough moments with customers. The staff she works with is awesome and we are blessed to be able to eat lunch together most days during the week.

We love you all very much! Keep in touch, we'd love to hear from you too!
