Boo-YAH!

This is a picture of us with our friends at a birthday party for our neighbor Dorothy.

Hello All,

We love and miss you all greatly! We are sorry that we are not keeping up with these blogs as we ought, but we're trying.

I (Brett) am getting hammered with school. I had an 18 page paper due yesterday, and a seven page paper that I turned in on Tuesday. Monday I have a 10 page paper and then Wednesday a two page paper and a midterm. I'm not complaining, but I have procrastinated a bit with these so it's whooping my booty!

A really cool thing that has happened to us is that I have accepted a position as the publicity chair with the Talbot Associated Students. The Talbot AS is like a student government of sorts, with the focus of creating community among the students at Talbot. I will be in charge of helping keep the Talbot students in the know, creating community with merchandise, as well as serving the students in other ways. I am really excited and it will give us a scholarship.

Also, please be praying for three Biola students that I have the privilege of discipling. The students are really awesome and all three are totally different. We meet on Friday's with a group called "the Journey," which is run as an undergrad program. The students names are Daniel, Jed, and A.J. Pray that I can lead by example as a man of God.

Holly is feeling a lot better now. She has only had a few cravings, green olives, Wendy's hamburgers and coffee ice cream (though not together), but nothing too crazy. She's starting to show a little more, though still not wearing maternity clothes. We have our next appointment at the doctor's office a week from today (10/11), so we will let you know how that goes. In terms of work, it is going well now because it has slowed down a lot in the office, which is good because Holly is not near as stressed. Holly has also been looking for a two-bedroom apartment because we really would like to move into a two-bedroom before the baby comes (I say holly because that is her hobby right now). Pray that God would lead us where he would want us to be and might provide an amazing deal and a good community.

We love you all very much and miss you!

Brett & Holly
