It's beginning to look a lot like...

...something other than 90 degree weather, everywhere you go. Doesn't have the same ring to it as the famous version.

Nanny and David came out to see us last weekend, and we had a great time! While they were here, our plans changed because of fires, but we went to Idyllwild instead, and had a great time because it is just so beautiful and a nice little getaway for us (especially since the air quality down near us was so poor because of the fires). It was great having them here, especially since it was David's first trip back since helping us move here.

Last night we had our big Biola Athletic Meeting, and it went really good. We had a bunch of new students and there seemed a great deal of enthusiasm for the meeting and as a result. My good friend Nick came and spoke, and did a great job. One of the other things we did was that we interviewed students on the campus and asked them a few questions about what they thought about the athletes on campus. It was encouraging and challenging and seemed to make the students think. Pray for these young men and women to continue to pursue the Lord in all they do, on and off the field.

It's almost the end of the semester for us here, and it couldn't come soon enough. It's been a really tough semester for us as a fam, and me (Brett) as a student, but God is so good and He has been our strength and comfort.

Here are the pics...

Cutest wittoe bunny on the pwanet. Even though there is a pumpkin in the background, this is not a Halloween costume, but a coat...yes, a winter coat. She's pretty cute.

Big Pop and M squared.

Nanny and MayMae just chillin in the sun.

Three beautiful ladies.

Beautiful...near Idyllwild.

Love this...

Smile MaryMayes!

That's one good looking family.

Mommy and MayMae.

What a great face MayMae...she was not a fan of the pics.

Look at that beautiful woman!

A big rock, I know, but it looks cool!

I got some beef jerky at one of these shops.

Diamond lake.

Sunset as we drove down the mountain from Idyllwild.
