Yeah, the title definitely describes me well...riiiiiiiiight! Maybe my wife, but I'm more like a social slug or snail. Anyway, we had a really great weekend...mainly because Greek is OVER!!!! And again, God rocks our faces off and I got another A in the class! We are blessed!
On Friday night we went and saw the Bourne Ultimatum (because we had two free tickets given to us by some friends). In one word...incredible. It completely lives up to the standard set by the previous two movies. We went to the movie with our good friend Johnny Parker and his lovely date, Katie. Johnny and I debated the rest of the night about who would actually win in a fight; Jason Bourne or James Bond. I say Jason Bourne, but he says James Bond. (Did I mention that Johnny is British?) After the movie, we went on over to Chilli's for some food and ended up watching the Angels game. What a coincidence. It was a really fun night!
The following night Holly and I went up to Monrovia to hang out with our good friends, Brian and Carole Hedrick. We ate an amazing dinner with them prepared by Carole, who is a great cook. Then we watched their dog Lucy finally warm up to us, we talked, then watched a movie and just had an awesome time. Their place is really cute (Holly's description), and it's such a nice area to live in...we're a bit jealous. We really love spending time with Brian and Carole, who are fellow Georgians and Lockheed children.
Yesterday, we went to church at Sunrise church, which we commonly refer to as "our church" now, where we met up with Uncle Bill and Aunt Lynda. We went to Bill and Lynda's afterwards for dinner and dessert to celebrate my cousin Tyson, and his wife's birthday's. We talked about everything going on in our lives, UCLA football, and I goofed around with/beat up Tyson and Tracy's son, Colby, all afternoon. It was great to see Ty, Tracy, Colby and Shelby again, as well as just having a nice relaxing afternoon at Bill and Lynda's beautiful house.
On a sad note, my laptop is going to cost a bit more than we anticipated, but it is necessary to get it fixed and it will help in the long run. I'm also frantically writing this blog entry because I'm writing on our PC at home which seems to crash after about 10 minutes of use every time. It could poop out on us any second. But, in the meantime it gets the job done.
We miss everyone so much! We'll blog again soon! WE love you all, and LIVE THE FULL LIFE!!!
