What is up homies?!

What's going on everyone! That pic is from a lunch Holly and I went to with some friends from her office.

Holly and I are getting ready for school to start next Wednesday. I'm going to be taking 13 units and Holly is going to be completely inundated with people, emails and calls all with questions about anything Biola related.

Here is what we think God has been showing us this while we have been at Talbot/Biola.
1. God has a sense of humor.
2. God’s plans are not our plans.
3. We can think that we truly understand God and who He is one minute, and the next minute we can be completely humbled with seeing Him differently than we have ever seen Him before.
4. God wants all of who we are…not 25, 50, or 75%, not even 99.9%. He wants it all. Our passions, our desires, our dreams, our plans, our comforts, our loves, our whole being…He wants us.
5. God is always at work in our lives, working in, on, and through us in ways we cannot see, but in ways that are conforming us to the image of Christ.
6. God wants to expose the sin in our lives so that He can heal those wounds. He wants us to risk our reputation with others so that we can be restored in our relationship with Him.
7. God desires for us to do all for the glory of God, when we do that He is honored and we are blessed.
8. God is Love. God is Grace. God is Good. God is Holy. God is Just. God is Abba. God is in control.
