Fire, Fire Everywhere!

Yes, we are OK! The "Firestorm 2007" has been intense and Holly and I are completely safe, though there was a time when the wind almost blew us off of the interstate on our way to church! But, the fires were never close to us at all (the closest was probably 20 miles away blowing south of us) and if there were ever a time to be thankful that we live in a concrete jungle it was during this "firestorm."

Holly and I went to the doctor last week and we heard the heartbeat again! The baby seems to be doing well and Holly's tummy is growing! She's feeling better, though she is still really tired. We are going to get our ultrasound on November 15, which we cannot wait for!

School for Brett was tough these past couple of weeks because of Mid-terms and papers, but he got threw them and he is very relieved. Also, Holly and I are going to the Talbot marriage retreat this weekend, which we cannot wait for! It's going to be very nice to get away to a place with some nice beds, hang out with some great people, and just rest.

Missy, Holly's sister came in town on October 11 and left the on Sunday, the 14. Holly and Missy went out on Saturday to register for Baby stuff for Baby Durham (Babies R Us and Target). We also got to take Missy out to some of our favorite places to eat, and to take her to our church (which she loved).

Here are some pics!

Yup, Holly is now 18 weeks pregnant.

Our first pumpkin together!

This is the Talbot AS team that Brett is a part of (He's in the back middle).
